CHAINWRIGHT / COMPACT PLAYER STATS / 2026-10-30

This example saves eight bounded game/app stats. The reference stores eight uint256 fields; the compact version stores eight uint32 fields in one slot. Both public interfaces accept uint256 inputs and enforce the same uint32 bounds, owner permissions, batch size and event. Storage layout differs; these are examples for new deployments, not a proxy migration.

README, fixtures.json, prepare.py, run-server.py and analyze.py describe and reproduce the comparison. The native harness expects the existing pinned Chainwright Linux runtime under /opt/chainwright-studio and its retained Solidity0.8.30/Anvil1.8.6/bwrap/prlimit. Native binaries and runtime vendor dependencies are separate inputs in the full source handoff, not silently installed by this kit. Do not run the public broker without its original authentication, sandbox, quotas, deadlines and Stop controls.

20 fresh isolated synthetic chains,322 checks. Every listed input/return/revert/event pair matches; measured call gas repeats3times for1,4,8profiles. Boundary suites run once per version. No mainnet, real wallet, financial signature, capital, provider payment or security-audit acceptance. Gas is not a universal fee quote.

Read summary.json for per-call, deployment and setup-inclusive costs. Compact deployment costs16.78%more and runtime grows337bytes. First saves use74.97–82.90%less gas; existing updates50.06–70.09%less for these inputs. This is a known Solidity storage technique versus an explicit full-width reference, not an external competitor benchmark, arbitrary-contract optimizer or new compiler-performance claim.

Browser project files contain source and test plans, with no results or live authority. Import one in Chainwright or use the direct recipe link. The public studio opens the one-player plan; fixtures.json includes all batch sizes and boundaries.

Original example and harness source: MIT. Upstream compiler/runtime licenses and provenance remain in the full source package and distribution notices.
